Please keep up the explanation of the post-liberals because I'm one of the simple minded. I read and read and become confused by the endless comparisons to history and philosophy when it's unnecessary. Straight simple reason will be more helpful, just like yours. Thanks. Take care.

I think part of the game for them is endless references to little-known philosophers and historical thinkers. This makes their arguments seem more complex than they are and it's designed to put non-academics out of their depth. It's very similar to some on the academic left, who insist that you can't talk about Critical Race Theory if you haven't read hundreds of law review articles from tiny journals no one outside of a law school has ever heard of.
